Dear members
Below are the guidelines for forthcoming competitions.
During the competition season, the practice area is open to golfers prior to their tee off time. To allow us to continue to monitor who is on the course, at what time, you can now arrive 30 minutes before your tee time and spend 20 minutes on the practice area followed by 10 minutes on the putting green.
Please adhere to all current social distancing rules and keep to the timescales to be courteous to other members. The areas are only open for use prior to a booked tee time.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BOOK YOUR TEE TIMES ON BRS AND ENSURE THE NAMES IN YOUR COMPANY ARE CORRECT.

In advance of play:
• Travel to the golf course from your home must be in line with Scottish Government guidelines.
• If you are ill or have any symptoms of COVID19 then stay at home.
• The course is open to members only and tee-times must be booked through the BRS system. Tee times will start no earlier than 8am, this is to allow green staff to get ahead of golfers, as the staff are having to implement a staggered start, to adhere to their guidelines for work.
Under no circumstances should you arrive at the club without booking in advance.
• Tee group sizes must be either single golfers, two balls
from any household.
· Social distancing of 2 metres must be adhered to at all times.
• Ensure you have enough golf balls, tees etc. as the facilities at the Golf Club are closed, and you should not exchange equipment with other members.
• Park your car in such a way as to facilitate physical
distancing.
• Change your shoes in the car park.
• Bring your own hand sanitiser to the course and use
regularly during the round.
BUGGIES WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE MEMBERS WITH A REQUIREMENT DUE TO A MEDICAL NEED.
On the course:
• Do not arrive at the first tee more than 5 minutes before your allotted tee time.
• Please do not use the benches or water fountains on the course, and there are no bins, so please take your rubbish home.
• With no rakes allowed on the course, golfers to make their very best efforts to smooth the sand using their club and/or their feet.
• Following play of a hole, do not enter the next teeing area until the all members of the group in front have played their tee- shots, and exited the teeing area.
• Do not share equipment, food or drink with other players during your round.
• Do not touch the flag or flagstick. Putt with the flagstick in, and remove your own ball from the hole. Remember not every putt needs to be holed out in casual golf.
