The GSGB is delighted to announce that Hawick has become the latest Participating Club.

Founded in 1877 in the beautiful Teviotdale Valley, Hawick is the oldest club in the Borders.

Renowned as  “James Braid Border Masterpiece”, Hawick is surrounded by castles & abbeys, tweed mills & distilleries.

The views are spectacular, extending to Lothians, Dumfries and Galloway, Northumberland and the Borders.

The 16th hole is known as McLaren’s Miracle in honour of lifetime member & rugby commentator Bill McLaren who had a hole-in-one at this scenic par 4. This course is the definition of “hidden gem”.
