Firstly a Date for your diary - We are planning a members event on 16th March in the clubrooms. Scotland play Ireland in the 6 nations finale. We aim to have a top name speaker, entertainment and food matched to the theme of the game. Further details to follow in February.
Membership payments have been arriving in a steady stream, and we want to remind everyone that payment should be made by end of January. If you are having trouble with paying this years subscription please contact a council member or club administrator in full confidence.
We have had a great response to our request for additional council members - 7 new faces were in place for our January meeting along with the clubs new administrator taking care of the secretarial and treasurer roles. (There is always room for more enthusiastic volunteers).
Due to online access issues, we have had to set up a new email address to contact the Administrator.
The new email address is: email@example.com
This replaces firstname.lastname@example.org. Which will continue to be monitored to ensure nothing of importance is missed.
We also plan to have a mobile number so the Administrator can be contacted directly. The number will also be shared in due course.
A new Greens Committee has been formed which includes a very familiar face, and they will drive forward work and development on the course.
We are about to offer a one off deal to attract new members.
You will see this being advertised online very soon. We will also be sharing deals for visitors and prices for group bookings and we would appreciate if all deals could be shared when you see them being advertised.
The weekly Tote draw continues and we would encourage new members to sign up by Standing Order to the Tote Bank account. Please contact the club administrator in order to set this up if you are unsure of the bank details.
So you can still enter the draw when the bar area is closed - We have moved the Tote box downstairs for those who wish to choose different numbers each week - the new box is located outside the secretaries office. There are envelopes for you to write your numbers on and for your money. Please encourage friends and family to take part in the weekly draw.
We continue to work with Adam's Kitchen to develop our relationship and looking at new offerings for the season ahead. We hope to have more details to report in the next update.
